2007 Membership Committee

Focus:

The Membership Committee oversees and implements new member recruitment, application, selection, and orientation for the HPPC.  The Membership Committee also ensures parity, inclusion, and representation on the Council. Responsibilities include: 

• Oversees and implements the recruitment of and application process for new members
• Interviews and selects prospective members to recommend for appointment
• Develops and implements a comprehensive orientation to community planning and the HPPC for new and current members
• Develops and implements methods for member retention
• Monitors and assesses gaps in the inclusion of the Council and implements procedures to fill the gaps
• Develops improved ways to operate the HPPC
• Ensures that the HPPC is educated on community issues
• Ensures that communities are informed about the work of the HPPC
