I work with the Membership/Community Liaison Committee and the New Approaches
to Prevention Committee to plan and coordinate agendas, work
plan, and yearly goals. I also support HPPC activities (eg. agenda development
and meeting logistics) and provide condoms and health education to high
school students through the Condom Availability program.

I am Research
Coordinator with the HOPE study, which is evaluating an enhanced
intervention for HIV-positive inmates. As research coordinator,
I track recidivisim of participants, calculate monthly follow-up rates,
maintain accounting of stipend disbursements, and assist in data analysis,
manuscript preparation, and dissemination of findings. I’m also writing
a manuscript detailing the methods used by study staff to track participants.

My
HIV expertise is as the Front Office Coordinator of the Early
Care Clinic at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic (1991-1996); HIV test counselor;
Prevention Point needle exchange program volunteer (1993); Condom
Availability Program Survey (New York, NY 9/94-12/94); and Condom
Availability Program at Mission High School (1/96-6/96 & 9/96-12/96).

My
hobbies include working out, seeing live music, reading, movies,
eating good food, traveling to New York, hanging with friends,
achieving and maintaining balance, and living and loving life.
